Our Mission
Stay Free Ministries exists to reach people where they are, equip them to walk in freedom and healing through Jesus, and send them out to live a life of purpose, service, and ministry.
At Stay Free Ministries, all are welcome. No matter your background, your failures, or your past, you can find a place to be loved, supported, restored, and reminded that God still has a calling on your life.

Our Church
At Stay Free Ministries, we believe the church should be a place where people can come as they are and be transformed by the love of Jesus.

Through Sunday service, Friday Celebrate Recovery, and free discipleship classes, we create space for people to worship, learn, heal, and grow.

Our mission does not stop at our doors. Above all, we are called to the Great Commission — to reach the lost, make disciples, and send people out to live a life of ministry wherever God leads them.

Our Programs
Stay Free Ministries provides Christ-centered support for men, women, mothers, and children who are rebuilding their lives through recovery.

Through our recovery homes, family ministry, discipleship, transportation, meals, and daily support, we create a safe and structured environment where people can heal, grow, work, restore relationships, and walk in freedom through Jesus.

Our programs are designed to meet people where they are and help them take their next step toward stability, purpose, and lasting transformation.
Our Story

From a Backyard to a Mission Field
In 2020, Stay Free Ministries began in the backyard of a men’s recovery home during COVID. There was no big stage or polished plan, just a deep need for recovery, family ministry, community, and a place where hurting people could encounter the hope of Jesus.

How the Mission Grew
As more people came, the backyard quickly became too small.
Stay Free moved to Brindlee Mountain Saddle Club, and before long, outgrew that space too. What started as a small gathering began becoming something much bigger: a local mission field for people and families in need of hope, healing, and support.

Where We Are Today
Today, Stay Free Ministries serves men, women, mothers, children, and families from all backgrounds in Marshall County, Alabama and beyond. We continue to build a safe place where people can rebuild their lives and find lasting freedom through Jesus.
Meet the Lasters
Pastor Rick and his wife Dusty have been serving Marshall County through Celebrate Recovery and Stay Free Ministries for over 20 years.

His family is a light of hope and has overcome the loss and devastation that addiction so often brings.

Out of much personal experience, he has cultivated a team dedicated to this ministry and has a vision to continue through the church, family ministries, houses, and programs indefinitely.
